¡Buenos días! I came to Flagstaff in 1986. I tried to live elsewhere twice but always returned to this beautiful, diverse, and intimate community. I am the Spanish teacher at Mountain Elementary School and love delving into what is Spanish, where does it come from and how can we learn to speak it. I have also taught Spanish to high school students and preschoolers. I learned Spanish through studying abroad in the Yucatán, México, NAU, Spanish clubs, and speaking with people. I believe in learning through experience!
