The Museum of Northern Arizona’s Custom
Tours offer unparalleled opportunities to discover and explore the
marvels of the Colorado Plateau. Experience the rich natural wonders
and cultures of this region through experts’ eyes by traveling with
scientists, writers, artists, and professional guides.
MNA develops Custom Tours for individuals, families, youth and
school groups (elementary through high school), university groups and
alumni associations, professional organizations, cultural
institutions, and commercial tour groups. MNA Custom Tours can also be
developed as a unique revenue generating opportunity for institutions
and organizations.
Custom Tours range from one to fourteen days. These one-of-a-kind
educational tours are developed with the client’s educational
interest, physical activity level, goals, schedule, and budget in
mind. Diverse itineraries include hiking, backpacking, river rafting,
kayaking, horse packing, llama trekking, base camping, van tours, and
lodge/hotel-based programs. Educational themes include archaeology,
ethnology, biology, geology, paleontology, natural history, fine art,
creative writing, literature, and regional history.
