Ventures
Programs
|

The Ventures program offers
unparalleled opportunities to discover and explore the Colorado
Plateau—130,000 square miles of mountains, mesas, and canyonlands
centered in the Four Corners region of Arizona, Utah, Colorado,
and New Mexico. Experience the rich natural wonders and cultures
of this region through experts' eyes by traveling with scientists,
writers, artists, and guides on outdoor adventures. Trips range
from day-long encounters to overnight or week-long excursions,
explorations, and expeditions.

Discovery
Programs |
The Discovery program offers
exceptional educational experiences that emphasize the artistic
traditions, natural sciences, Native American cultures, and
history of the Colorado Plateau. A variety of program choices
provide fun and experiential learning opportunities for students
of all ages and interests. Programs range in length from half-day
classes to week-long immersions, and offer experiences for
three-year-olds to adults. Discovery classes take place primarily
on the Museum grounds but may include field trips to accompany the
experience.

Custom Tours |

The Museum of Northern Arizona's
Custom Tours offer unparalleled opportunities to discover and
explore the marvels of the Colorado Plateau. Experience the
rich natural wonders and cultures of this region through experts'
eyes by traveling with Scientists, writers, artists, and
professional guides.

Self-guided and
docent-led programs are available on the archaeology of the
Colorado Plateau, contemporary local Native American cultures, and
the unparalleled geology and biology of the Colorado Plateau.
Tours are also available of special exhibits.

Colton Community Youth Garden |

Colton Community Youth Garden
(formerly Flagstaff Youth Garden) is a summer internship program
with the Museum of Northern Arizona in partnership with the
Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy. It offers wages, job skill
training, and leadership development to local high school youth. |
