Hopi Iconography Project

My Hopi name is Coochsiwukioma. I am from Shungopavi, Arizona and a well known artist in the area.

I like to keep the shape of the cotton root wood and work around the piece. I use ancient symbols and water color to paint. All my pieces have different stories. All my work is carved out and no burning is involved.
