Originally from New Berlin, Wisconsin, Jamie has had a variety of experiences within the museum field including working at Old World Wisconsin in Eagle, WI as a lead interpreter, at Old Falls Village in Menomonee Falls, WI as a historic tour guide, with collections at Lincoln Log Cabin in Illinois and currently as a collections intern at MNA for the summer/fall of 2006. She also has experience in programming through working with the National Student Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. and writing an educational program for Old World Wisconsin.
Projects:
2006: School Days: A day in the life of 1906 schoolchilden Wrote a summer camp program (1 day and 5 days) for Old World Wisconsin's Raspberry School; Included aspects of school in Northern Wisconsin in 1906.
2005-2006 Art and Cultures of the Ancient Mound Builders Historical Administration Class of 2006 exhibit; served as web designer(virtual exhibit), multimedia creator, and exhibit design.
