The Muses of the Museum of Northern Arizona

History and Purpose
In 1985 a small group of women who were active members of the Museum of Northern Arizona formed The Muses, a Sedona-based group in support of MNA’s mission to “inspire love and responsibility for the Colorado Plateau."

Today The Muses is an organization of over one hundred women and men who take advantage of the many learning experiences and volunteer opportunities made available through membership in MNA. The Muses support group is active in educating Sedona area residents and visitors about the art, archaeology, geology, biology, and cultures of the Colorado Plateau region—especially Native American and Hispanic/Latino cultures.

Meetings
The Muses meet each month, September through May, on the first Thursday of the month at:
St. Andrews Episcopal Church

Meeting schedule exceptions: The October meeting is held at MNA in Flagstaff. The December meeting is a holiday luncheon.

Membership
Annual membership in The Muses is $40 for individuals and $75 for households.  To join The Muses, send your check along with a completed membership application.  Application, By-laws, and Muses policies are linked below:
